Advanced Methods of Physiological System Modeling
Volume I (1987)
by Vasilis Z. Marmarelis, Ph.D.

This volume is based on the presentations made during the 1st Workshop on Advanced Methods of Physiological System Modeling, organized by the Biomedical Simulations Resource (BMSR). This meeting was the first of a series that the BMSR organizes on the subject in its effort to foster interaction and collaboration in biomedical modeling and simulation. The focus of this volume is on nonlinear modeling methods and the use of sophisticated test inputs for physiological system analysis. This volume contains 20 articles, in addition to an overview of nonlinear modeling methods, which address various theoretical and methodological issues, and discuss the application of nonlinear modeling methods to a variety of systems of physiological interest.
